The quiet suburb of Lien Chieu is famous for Hai Van Pass, a winding mountain road where visitors can immerse themselves in the city space and bay views, besides the ruined fortress, the French colonial period on Mountain peek. The hillside Suoi Luong Road cuts through pretty swimming spots among the woods and secluded beaches that dot the region’s picturesque coastline. Stalls in the busy Hoa Khanh market sell local fruits, flowers and snacks, while cafes and small eateries serve homemade soups and noodles.
